Kiki & Alexander

   Kiki and her little brother Alexander.. our tabby kitten we adopted back in September 2001. We had a long trip planned to Florida and we knew Alexander would benefit from a big sister/playmate.  So we stopped into the Berkeley East Bay Humane Society just in time for Alexander's 3rd month birthday..and long story short, we adopted a lovely girl kitty.. The shelter aged her at 15mo. but on the first trip to the vet in November 2001, our doctor aged her at 10mo.  So that makes one Leo kitten (alexander) and one capricorn (kiki).. Just in case you astral anaylists out there are keeping score..

Thanksgiving.. our first photos of Kiki with Alexander... As you may recall the story of Alexander was that he was rescued from being served up to a pit bull by some evil kids.. Kiki's former owners dropped her off when she 'suddenly' became pregnant. It seems they never bothered to have her fixed and they no longer wanted her when she was with kittens.. So the shelter let her keep her kittens til they were weened, then adopted them all out leaving Kiki kitten-less.

mid-2007 (the 9th of August to be exact)  and beyond are the  Canon  Powershot A570 is (we our last camera died somewhere around  C-IVthe Star Wars Celebration).  This one is a 7.1 megapixel with a 4x zoom.  Takes about the same pix when it comes to the cats.

Sean got a really good deal on a store model Kodak dc3200 (digital camera) and we had to try it out immediately! We've been taking photos of the cats ever since... 2003 photos and beyond were taken with a Canon Powershot (A70 3.2mega pixel digital)
