Ok.... So it's October 31st, 1999.... Halloween Day. Time to go to the Meet!!  First thing we did was pack up the site

        Well here is the entrance into the park.. Haven't been to MK since May of 1998.  Ok not bad considering I hadn't been in about 20 years before that!!! You can see the warning you get before entering the park about the MNSSHP.  Also above the archway is a banner inviting you to "Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand."

        Ok.. So we're in the park.. First thing is breakfast.  Thea made PS (priority seating) for Tony's Restaurant.  Yum!
 
 
 
 

here's Thea checking in for our reservation!  It was really pretty in here.  They had a TV in the waiting area that played what movie???  Lady & the Tramp of course!  <g>
 
 
 

          here is breakfast. Mine is the French Toast with an apple compote on the side...Thea had  the biscuits & gravy (which wasn't on the menu, but suggested by our waiter).  Our waiter surprised Thea with a cinnemon roll, which, according to Thea, was just as good as it looked!
 
 

         Disney magic seems to touch almost everything!  I was pretty impressed with the butter pats that had Mickey's head embossed onto them.
Thea held them up for me to photograph..and as she tilted the plate, they began to fall toward the table.. luckily Thea caught them in time!  <g>
 
 
 
 
 

        Thea & I got to sit out on the Veranda of the restaurant.  Our waiter leaped over the planter on the steps to get the photo for us!  It was so neat sitting here. We could watch as the park came alive with people, characters and all sorts of views.  Pluto was riding around in circles in a fire truck with different little children.  I kept missing him, so I never got a photo.  oh well!
 
 
 
 

There was plenty of characters around and someone special evan came up to say "Hello!" in her own quiet way.. You could say she was "quiet as a mouse".. Har! Har! Har! ....ho hum.. sorry 'bout that....
 
 
 

        Once breakfast was done, we headed to Tomorrowland to check out Buzz Lightyear. I had never ridden it before.  My score really stunk but it was fun just the same, and now that I figured it out, it shouldn't be so hard next time!

        Next ride.. Many Adventure's of Winnie the Pooh!  Ok.. I was rather bummed about Toad being gone, but I heard that this is fun ride.

Crystal Palace.
    This is where Sean & I will have our MVMCP (Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party) dinner.  The park will close early & Sean & I will have the whole place to ourselves!!  (OK.. maybe *NOT* all to ourselves, just about 1000 other people... so that's pretty close to being alone. Maybe.

        Thea & I tried to go in to look at the topiaries. Thea said they were really neat, but the CM at the door wouldn't let us in.. Like we were going to sneak a look at POOH!  humpf!! She was pretty rude. I wish we *had* gotten her name. Oh well.

        Here's me! This is around the corner of Crystal Palace.  "See Honey?" I wanted to say. This is where we have dinner! Thanks to Thea for taking the picture!!
 
 

 

Here's Cinderella's coach... From what I understand, it can be used for weddings for a very pretty price.  I wasn't sure what it was doing out on display, but it was neat to see it just the same.
 

        Fairytale Garden is where you can find Belle reading the Beauty & the Beast story... Lucky audience members might be chosen to participate in the storytelling.  Hmmm... Who do I know who would just love that??  <G>
 

Here's the Diamond Horseshoe where we will have a meet on Sunday morning December 5th.  There wasn't anything going on when we walked by at the time.. but I am sure it will be a good time.. especially with all the fun-loving RADPers in attendance!!
 
 
 
 
 

     We had to check out the Tiki Room! =)  Thea likes the original better, but she was a great
sport to sit through the new one with me!  I saw it the first time last year.  I really like that
line "Hunky Tuna Tostada??!" that Iago makes.
